Passion, vision and courage are the three characteristics Doriane Dalati, Vice President, General Manager of Redken 5th Avenue NYC, brings to all she touches. Her drive to bring ideas to life while remaining grounded in solid business practices, is done with élan, taking all those who work and associate with her on a journey that collectively realizes the best in everyone.

In 1992, Ms. Dalati joined the L'Oreal Group in Montreal, as the Special Events Manager for L'Oreal Professional. For the next 10 years, Ms. Dalati oversaw with her team at L'Oreal Professionelle the education, events, public relations and professional and trade development initiatives for salons and hairdressers. In 1997 she was appointed Director of Professional Development. During this time, Ms. Dalati built the base for the company's involvement in Toronto Fashion Week, and the L'Oreal Color Trophy − today premiere beauty industry events. Both events have continued to evolve and now garner international attention.

In addition to her responsibilities at L'Oreal, Ms. Dalati is active in the Allied Beauty Association (ABA), the national professional industry federation which is composed of all manufacturers and distributors in Canada In 1992 she was an ABA Committee Member. In 1997 she was appointed to the ABA Board of Directors representative for Quebec. In the same year she joined the Board of the Canadian Hair World Team Association, and oversaw the "World Hair Olympics" for Canada, a signature industry event held every 2 years around the world.

In 2002, Ms. Dalati became the President of the ABA, same year as she was appointed a VPGM of Redken 5th Avenue, NYC in Canada, another professional hair care brand within the L'Oreal group. She continues to think out of the box and inspires. The result... Redken 5th Ave. NYC has experienced the fastest and greatest growth in the Canadian professional beauty industry in the last 5 years. New and innovative activities, partnerships that showcase Redken with hair stylists and consumer audiences. As a result, in 2008 she brought Redken Canada to a mass audience via the brand's participation in "Ford's Supermodel of the World Search". And for the past two years, Redken has been actively involved, first in raising awareness and also raising money via the salon community for ONEXONE, a charity that fights child poverty in Canada and around the world. In recognition of her efforts, Ms. Dalati was invited to join the ONEXONE Board in 2009. .
