THANK YOU TO OUR PARTNERS & DONORS

Dear friends and partners of ONEXONE,

Using simple words to describe the last 10 days can never ever come close to portraying the true whirlwind of emotion and love that we have felt at ONEXONE. From Wednesday morning right after the Quake to tonight as we get ready for another mission tomorrow, only one company said no every other corporation we called not only said yes but hasn’t stopped giving. Partners In Health have been in Haiti for the last 25 years and have been instrumental in creating an efficient and progressive health system. But more importantly their work has expanded to really taking care of the Haitian community around them to encompass healthy nutrition programs and education. Dr. Paul Farmer is truly one of the most incredible human beings on this planet and today as the crisis in Haiti continues to take lives, PIH is at the forefront across the country and saving lives every second. We are honored to be doing what we are doing. Between the first trip last Saturday and this trip scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday January 23rd) we will have delivered well over 2M dollars of Medicine, Medical Equipment, Water, Tents & Sleeping bags (for visiting doctors) and assorted other important necessities. We were thanks to Air Canada the first non-military flight into Haiti and we were able through the great work of PIH and friends at Amerijet who have a crew on the ground; we were able to move the shipment efficiently and effectively and the needed equipment was in the hands of PIH in the matter of hours.

The logistics of something like this is mind boggling we started Wednesday morning and finished late last Friday; the partners listed here have given their money their merchandise and their hearts. The dedication went beyond and all I can say is that this past week nothing changed no one said no. Along with these wonderful partners we must single out friends whose time was invaluable to these two missions. Mr Edward Rogers and Mr Frank McKenna; our board of directors.

Special thanks to the incredible team at Air Canada; never could I have imagined a giant the size of AC could operate like a small family business; nimble and efficient with dignity and respect. Duncan Dee the COO and Jude Welch led their charge and what started out as two organizations working together became two families working to a common goal. The Pepsi team and the Canadian Tire team, Bruce Goodman our fantastic Internet and Software Guru who worked day and night to keep the information going, to Wendy Muller; Mrs Irving, Mitchell Litwin; our wonderful police officers on the ground, Bonnie Brookes, Stan Sculnik, and a special thank you to Dr. Bernie.

Our work is just beginning but what a start, every penny collected during this time will go directly to the aid of Haiti and we are committed to be there for the long haul, we were there before, we have been there for the last almost 4 years and we felt good about the future especially working with the Clinton foundation, we know this is a tremendous catastrophe, but the people of Haiti are resilient; they just need our support but more importantly they need once ad for all a handshake not a handout.

So as the media leaves please do not forget we are just starting and please check in with us periodically and help us to continue our work, we will be eternally grateful to everyone on this page and the hundreds of names who helped as we continue we will add to the names of our heroes.

Haiti Forever this is our mission; this is our passion

Thank you.

PLEASE HELP - MAKE A DONATION

ONEXONE has been committed to improving the conditions in Haiti since 2006. ONEXONE has facilitated more than $1 million in support of the country. Currently we are working with Partners in Health (PIH), helping to treat acute malnutrition in 6,000 Haitian children. Since 2008, ONEXONE has been proud to work along side many NGOs under the leadership of President Clinton whose Clinton Foundation has coordinated those collected efforts. ONEXONE remains committed to helping with both immediate emergency response and long-term support for Haiti and its people in this time of dire need.
