ONEXONE was founded with the philosophy that every single life is precious and that as individuals we can make profound difference in the life of another human being, one by one.
ONEXONE’s vision is to improve the lives of children in Canada, the USA and around the world with programs dedicated to five fundamental pillars: water, health, education, play and food.
HOW WE WORK
Founded in 2005 by Joelle Berdugo-Adler, ONEXONE works closely in partnership with carefully selected local organizations on the ground in each area of focus around the globe. Together with these partner organizations we implement and operate a variety of charitable programs and initiatives that align with our ultimate goal to alleviate suffering and preserve the lives of children the world over.
Success is attributed to ONEXONE’s dedicated and devoted volunteers beginning with a hands on board of directors to a Cabinet 4 Hope and a group of young professionals called ONE UP who are working on innovative new projects to help further the mission of ONEXONE.
At ONEXONE, we believe in collaboration and combining entrepreneurship with philanthropy to make profound change. It is about bringing in corporations and leveraging their business models to help change the world. We are proud to partner with Industrial Revolution II (IRII), a state-of-the-art apparel manufacturing facility being launched in in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. IRII is a business model designed for the 21st century. It is a sustainable and environmentally responsible business that will have a measureable positive impact on the local communities in which it operates. By investing 50 percent of IRII’s profit into programs for employees and their families, IRII and ONEXONE are creating a sustainable cycle of corporate and community prosperity. This model is a partnership between investors, workers and the local communities.
