“The long-term challenges to rebuild Haiti are pressing and profound. But there’s every reason to believe this country can emerge from this incredible tragedy in better shape,” said Frank McKenna. “There’s an extraordinary spirit and determination to turn things around. The opportunity is there and Canadians need to know they’re helping to create this opportunity. Their generosity is making a difference.”

ONEXONE’s Founder, Joey Adler gratefully acknowledged the participation of the Canadian Council of Hindus and Ajay K. Virmani and Cargojet for the 8th flight. The seven previous flights were made through the generosity of Air Canada.
ONEXONE began its missions on January 16th, on what was the first non-military flight to land in Haiti after the earthquake. ONEXONE, with the unwavering support of its corporate partners, Rogers, TD Bank Financial Group, Canadian Tire, Pepsi and JD Irving group and family, has since delivered over half a million pounds of cargo, including, medicine, over 1250 tents and equipment, 300,000 bottles of water and food.

“My travels to Haiti in the past two months have been an exceptional experience said ONEXONE’s Founder, Joey Adler, seeing aid delivered and knowing that Partners in Health would use the medicine immediately to help someone was a privilege. It has reinforced my belief that helping another person is not a responsibility or an obligation but a privilege.”

ONEXONE remains committed to helping Haiti rebuild by working with on-the-ground relief agency, Partners In Health to ensure all donated resources are being delivered to Haitians most in need. ONEXONE is grateful to all corporate partners, the public and volunteers for making eight missions possible.
