A few of the chair designs

ONEXONE partners with the Interior Design Show (IDS) over the course of 4 exciting days to raise $30,000!

January 26th to 29th, 2012 marked the 14th anniversary of the Toronto Interior Design Show (IDS) where ONEXONE was the charity of choice. Over the course of four exciting days, ONEXONE was able to raise $30,000 due to several events at IDS, all thanks to the many ONEXONE volunteers and members of the ONEXONE and IDS team.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Cherish Auction which showcased 21 Magis Julian chairs that were re-imagined by 21 different designers from all corners of the globe, including Donna Karan, David & Glenn Dixon, Debbie Travis, Joe Fresh and Hariri Pontarini Architects. For a full list of the designers please see below.

On Saturday morning, ONEXONE held a pancake breakfast at IDS in support of our “Feeding Our Children” initiatives. The pancake breakfast was sponsored by celebrity chef Mark McEwan, coffee by Second Cup and water by Pepsi; and served by interior design celebrities and ONEXONE’s board members. Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this important initiative.

Throughout IDS we had many volunteers selling our Band of Hope bracelets, created exclusively for ONEXONE in support of children’s causes in Haiti and North America. If you missed your chance at the show, please visit our store on our website.
